Profile

Interdisciplinary humanities teacher, coach, and mentor with experience across independent schools, public schools, and higher education. I teach discussion-based courses emphasizing critical thinking, analytical writing, primary-source analysis, and collaborative inquiry while supporting diverse learning profiles through student-centered and project-based approaches.

My scholarship explores the relationships among music, technology, culture, and community, with a particular focus on live music production and Afro-diasporic musical traditions. This work informs my teaching by helping students connect historical, cultural, and social perspectives across disciplines.
