🧭 Profile
Interdisciplinary educator, coach, and mentor with a background in the humanities, writing instruction, music scholarship, and audio production. I specialize in student-centered, project-based teaching that supports diverse learning profiles and emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and inclusive, real-world learning. My experience spans both secondary and university settings, with a particular focus on helping students develop strong academic skills across disciplines.
My research focuses on the history of live music production, the development of musical communities and genres, and the influence of Afro-diasporic musical and social paradigms on popular music and society. This work directly informs my teaching, bringing cultural, historical, technical, and social perspectives into the classroom. I engage students through diverse methodologies and foster a comparative, multicultural mindset that supports inclusive, interdisciplinary learning.
